My father had arrived last Friday from Manila at 1700 hrs. We ate dinner and waited for Saturday to come.
Dad was supposed to arrive on Saturday but insisted to come on Friday because my sister was going for the gold in a singing contest to be held in ABS-CBN on the program Sabado Na Game Na!. My sister didn't win but my dad was there and us to support her.
My mom eagerly wanted to go to Simala in Sibunga because of the miracles that happened there. The sudden plan was arranged Saturday night. We took off at about 1100 hrs on Sunday and travelled over two hours to Carcar. We stopped there to grab some lunch and then proceeded. We arrived in Simala at around 1500 hrs. We went straight to the miraculous Virgin; prayed, and offered our petitions. We were one of the last people to pray to the Virgin since the holy mass was about to start. Lucky?
The mass ended at around 1640 hrs. It was quite a long mass since there held a matrimony rights. Matrimony rights between Jesus (groom) and frater Walbert (spouse). It was a very long process but was very overwhelming. Overwhelming because I witnessed a man who was very dedicated to Jesus that he sacrificed his own freedom just to be of His service. After the mass, we lighted some candles and went off.
My folks decided that we sleep overnight to a resort or something. We went to Alcoy. Dad decided that we meet an old friend of his. It was my second time to met the person; the first was when we were stranded one time in Tinko Beach. We had our hydrographic suvey there. Tito John took us to place called Bodo's Bamboo Bar; Triple B Resort. It was near from his house. The place was great. It had an admirable view of the sea. It also had teriffic ammenities. They had a swimming pool, table tennis court, billiard hall, chess table, darts, and their workers were hot. hahahah
We slept at around 0100 hrs, woke up at 0800 hrs and suddenly.... my mom old us that we head to Negros. Before that, we were invited to Tito John's place to have breakfast. After which, we went straight to Santander, took a barge and arrived in Negros at around 1300 hrs. We went there to light some candles for our dear Lolo Estoy, my late granddad. He had lunch a the mercado, relaxed a little bit at the house and went directly to Tanjay to buy bodbod. It was a 30-min trip from home (San Jose). After that, we went to Tampi, rode a barge going to Cebu and went home. We arrived at exactly 2130 hrs.
WOW! What a ride! Everything was so sudden that in a blink of an eye, I'm here now and posting all the highlights from that trip. We went town hopping and island hopping. That experience was, for me, still unfathomable. It was just so quick. And that feeling was wonderful. It's so nice when you go for something unplanned. You know that you haven't planned it... but one person does...God... He led us the way..... Peace! I'm out!
